6:45 Wake up and get yourself dressed

7:00 Wake up Campers

  • Potty
  • Dress
  • If your campers are done and ready, look around to see where else you can help

7:55 Five minute warning to go to breakfast

8:00 Breakfast

<At least one person at the table at all times>

  • Get water/drinks for your campers
  • Prayer/Menu announced
  • Pick up food
  • Have a plethora of fun and exciting conversations
  • Feed (if needed – make sure to switch partners every meal)
  • Clean up – ALL dishes to window, wipe tables down

8:45 Flag-raising

9:00 Dorm Clean-up

  • Clean campers’ areas
  • Straighten up counselor area

<9:30  Leave for Go Karts>

9:45 Prep campers

  • Shoes
  • Sunscreen
  • Swimsuits on
  • Change of clothes

9:50 10 minute warning

10:00  Programs

  • Listen to directions from Program Counselor.
  • Get necessary supplies to camper.
  • Assist camper at their level allowing them to be the most independent.
  • Support Program Counselor.
  • If there are total care campers, please be sure to switch off with other counselors in order to give each other a break.

11:50 10 minute warning for Lunch

12:00 Lunch

1:45 Return to Dorm from Rest Hour to prep campers for next activities

  • Toilet
  • Change into swimming suit

2:00 Programs

5:20 Final prep – shoes on, comb hair, etc.

6:30  Back to dorms or playground (dependent upon week)

  • OR Country Store if it is your day:
    • Monday = Ponderosa
    • Tuesday = Juniper
    • Wednesday = Cedar
    • Thursday = Pinon
  • Committees to Night Program for set up

7:20 10 minute warning for Night Programs

7:30 Night Program

  • Keep an eye on your campers
  • Interact with campers
  • Enthusiasm in programs
  • Be alert/aware of campers needs (ex: bathroom, etc.)

8:50  Leave for dorm

9:00 – 10:00 Getting Campers to Bed

  • Potty
  • Toothbrush
  • PJ’s
  • Good night

9:15  Clean-up Night Programs if you were on the committee

  • All supplies back where came from
  • Garbage taken to dumpster
  • Lost and found to fireplace area

9:15-12:00 Night Dorm/Sleep out

  • Attend to needs
  • Listen
  • Volume down
  • Wake up if help needed

LIONS CAMP TATIYEE gives individuals with special needs the opportunity to spend a week away from home in the White Mountains of Arizona enjoying activities and meeting new friends.
